How This Works

EzyDeal is a daily deals website.
We offer 3 deeply discounted products or services every weekday, Monday to Friday.
The products are only available for a 12-hour period, from noon until midnight, or until sold out.
The following day, three new products are displayed.

Delivery

We only deliver to New Zealand addresses.
We cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
All deliveries are signature-required. Please provide a delivery address where a person will be present.
Alcohol purchases must be signed for by someone over the age of 18 on delivery. It is against New Zealand law to leave restricted goods such as alcohol, unattended at an address. Please make sure that someone will be available to take delivery as Courier Post will not leave it on the door step!
Orders are delivered by CourierPost New Zealand.
Delivery can take 2-3 business days and please allow for an extra day or two for delivery to the South Island or a Rural address.
You will receive a separate notification email containing a tracking number. You may track your delivery at CourierPost Track and Trace

Common Questions

Why is the basket empty when I click Buy?

This can mean that the selected product is sold out, or has just then also been added to someone else' basket in the time between viewing the page and clicking Buy.
If you experience this problem when it is obvious the item is available, the culprit is usually an overzealous anti-virus or "internet security suite" such as those sold by Norton/Symantec or McAfee. These suites normally offer a means of bypassing them or adding trusted websites. We recommend using a free and effective anti-virus such as Windows Security Essentials.
If you cannot make it work and would like to buy the item, please contact us before it sells out.

Registration & Subscriptions

Ezy Deal does not require that you register an account for any purpose.
You can sign-up for our daily alert email if you wish to receive advance notice of the day's deals.
Each daily alert email has a link allowing you to unsubscribe if you wish.

Shipping Fees

Shipping rates are standardised New Zealand-wide. Pay the same price everywhere.
Multiple items may be combined as a single item, but only if they fit into the same packet.
Shipping fees are calcuated and displayed on the checkout page, where you can remove items if the amount is unsuitable.
We often apply our lowest shipping rate to larger items as a special offer for your benefit. This special rate does not indicate the true cost of delivery and should not be used as a basis for calculation.

Sale of Liquor

If you use our website to purchase alcohol and you are under 18 years of age, then you are breaking the law. Refer to Section 172 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1989 "Making false representation to licensees, etc" which states:

Every person commits an offence and is liable to a fine not exceeding $2,000 who falsely represents in writing to the licensee or a manager of any licensed premises, or to any employee of the licensee, that he or she is a person to whom liquor may be sold or supplied under the licence.
Every person commits an offence and is liable to a fine not exceeding $1000 who falsely represents otherwise than in writing to the licensee or a manager of any licensed premises, or to any employee of the licensee, that he or she is a person to whom liquor may be sold or supplied under the licence

About Stock Levels

The stock bar on the product page displays three things with each page refresh
- Red - The percentage of stock sold
- Yellow - Stock purchased, but not yet paid for
- Green - Stock available
After clicking the buy button, buyers have 5 minutes to make their purchase or their basket will expire and the product be made available to others. This "in-basket" stock is the yellow bar.
If there is no stock available (green), but there is some stock in basket (yellow) then you may refresh the page every now and then until it has either sold or become available.
If one model of a product has sold out, but the other is still available, the stock level will indicate the amount left of the remaining item, which can cause confusion. We are working to change this behaviour.

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.
Shopping at Ezydeal.co.nz is safe. All payments are processed quickly and securely by DPS - Direct Payment Solutions Ltd.
We currently accept Visa and MasterCard.

Returns

We do want you to be happy with your purchase, but the choice to make a purchase is your own, so please choose wisely.
Due to the limited-stock nature of our business, we cannot accept returns where they are not covered by the consumer guarantees act or the fair trading act.
If you have received a defective item, please contact us and we will determine how to proceed. Depending on the nature of the problem, we may replace it, or direct you to the manufacturer, or we may initiate a refund if there is no other solution.
You retain all statutory rights that apply under New Zealand law.
